How to find your ring size

Tafareed rings currently come in one size: US 6, a 51.9 mm circumference and a 16.5 mm inner diameter. Other sizes and resizing are not available, so take two minutes to check before ordering.


Method 1: from a ring you own (most accurate)

  1. Pick a ring that fits the finger you'll wear it on.
  2. Lay it on a ruler and measure the inner diameter, inside edge to inside edge.
  3. If it's close to 16.5 mm, the Tafareed ring will fit.

Method 2: with string or a paper strip

  1. Wrap a string or thin paper strip around the base of your finger: snug, not tight.
  2. Mark where the ends meet.
  3. Lay it flat on a ruler and measure in millimetres.
  4. If it's close to 51.9 mm (within about 1 mm), the ring will fit.

Tips

  • Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are largest, and not with cold hands.
  • If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure at the knuckle: the ring has to pass over it.
  • Measure twice.

Buying a gift?

Borrow a ring they wear on the same finger and measure its inner diameter (method 1).


If it doesn't fit

You can exchange or return it within 30 days of delivery, unworn and in original condition with its box. Trying it on briefly to check the size is fine. See our Returns & Exchanges policy.


Chain lengths

  • 40 cm: close to the neck
  • 45 cm: the most common length, at the collarbone
  • 50 cm: just below the collarbone
